One Day Workshops

Intended for: Project Team Members / Research Professionals / Faculty/ UG or PG students
It will consist of three sessions:

  • 1st Session will comprise of the detailed introduction of the topic with relevant examples.
  • 2nd session will consist of the different methods/techniques/algorithms/directions in that topic with detailed coverage of few of them.
  • 3rd Session will discuss one recent activity/development in term of one research paper/product/development in that area. The Workshop is to be concluded by discussing the future directions and a few open problems in that area.

Following list is given only to give an idea. However AlgorithmGuru welcomes other topics also based on your requirements

  • Algorithm Complexity Analysis
  • Algorithm Design Strategies
  • Advanced Algorithms
  • Approximation Algorithms
  • Data structures for massive data
  • Network/Facility Location Models
  • Persistent Data Structures
  • Advanced Data Structures
  • Online Algorithms
  • Network Flow Problems
  • Computational Geometry
  • Cache-Oblivious Algorithms

Background of the audience should be discussed to make the talk productive for the listeners. Timing and duration of the sessions can be flexible depending upon the requirements. Ideally all three sessions should take total 3.5 hours excluding the breaks.
